The Waiting Room—Be Still and Know
Tim Fulkerson | 1.5.20
Not everything happens in our own time. Sometimes we have to wait. How do we live in those moments and often long seasons of waiting? This week we focus on the first aspect of what it means to wait on God: learning how to be still and know that He is God. Learning to wait on God means being still enough to stop fighting in our own strength and fill our minds with God and His Word. While gravity may pull many of us to worry or doubt, God is inviting us to speechless adoration.

When we are tempted to fear, God is inviting us to make Him our refuge and strength.

Our waiting is not in vain when we learn to serve and worship our Savior even in those moments of long delay. To wait on God is to worship Him in all circumstances.
