Piercing the Darkness—Part 1
Tim Fulkerson | 4.8.2018
We all need to know the freedom that we have through the work of Jesus Christ! He has given us the authority over darkness so that we can break the chains of bondage in our lives. We begin this new series by talking about the origin of the spiritual battle we face as it relates to Lucifer’s (Satan’s) fall from heaven.
Piercing the Darkness—Part 2
Tim Fulkerson | 4.15.2018
The serpent (Satan) deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and brought about their death and destruction. Because of their sin and rebellion, all of humanity is under the curse of sin and the power of Satan. God, however, had a plan from the beginning for our deliverance!
Piercing the Darkness—Part 3
Tim Fulkerson | 4.22.2018
The results of humanity’s rebellion against God affects each of us in very profound ways. Because of sin, all of us are under the power of sin and Satan. But Jesus Christ provides for us the victory through His death, burial, and resurrection. We are now seated in His authority!
Piercing the Darkness—Part 4
Tim Fulkerson | 5.6.2018
In spiritual warfare as in human warfare, the key to victory is to know your enemy and to know his strategies. We as Christians cannot be ignorant of the reality of demonic powers in our world. We, however, are endued with the power of Christ to pierce the darkness around us.
Piercing the Darkness—Part 5*
Tim Fulkerson | 5.13.2018
The spiritual battle that we are engaged in is in the heavenly, or spiritual, realm. It is critically important that we understand how to battle the powers of darkness in those heavenly realms. Daniel’s intercession for his people (Daniel 10) sets for us a powerful example of how to do spiritual warfare through prayer. As we intercede, God will bring an answer to our difficult situations that we might discover victory through Christ.

Piercing the Darkness—Part 6
Tim Fulkerson | 5.20.2018
As Christians we need to evict every force of darkness that encroaches. This cannot happen unless we understand the authority we have in Christ Jesus. When we invoke the name of Jesus, every evil force must obey. What a privilege to stand in the authority of Jesus!

2 Corinthians 10:3–6
Many of us deal with various “strongholds” that hold us captive. What are strongholds, and how do we break free from them? As we remember our position in Christ and rely on God’s provision, God will empower us to overcome any stronghold.
Piercing the Darkness—Part 8
Tim Fulkerson | 6.3.2018
How do we stand strong when the storms of life seem to overwhelm us? The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6 that we must put on the whole armor of God in order to be able to endure the schemes and plans of Satan to destroy us. While at times bad things do happen to us, it is during those times that we especially need to put on Christ Jesus so that we may continue steadfastly in victory.
Piercing the Darkness—Part 9
Tim Fulkerson | 6.10.2018
The subject of “blessings” and “curses” is something that we as Christians should not be ignorant of. As we address the issue of generational curses, we can see that through Jesus Christ, every curse can be reversed. Our aim is to walk in obedience to God, so that the peace and blessing of God may rest upon us and our families.
Piercing the Darkness—Part 10
Tim Fulkerson | 6.17.2018
One particular evil spirit that is extremely cunning and destructive is the “Jezebel spirit.” As we look in both Revelation 2 and 1 Kings 19, we see that although there were two women named Jezebel, there was a spirit that operated behind each person. Today, this same evil spirit of control and manipulation continues to do great damage. There is however freedom through Christ from the chains of bondage!

1 Peter 5:8–9
The most serious mistake that we as Christians can make is to act as if there is no danger from Satanic attack. There is a need for ongoing obedience to God. It is critically important that we not only know how to be delivered from bondage, but also how to consistently walk in wholeness and victory. As we abide in Christ, He will enable us to keep our steps sound and secure.
