We cannot be filled with the Spirit of Christ if we are consumed with worldly things, rather than the things of God. Absolute surrender to Jesus is essential to being filled!

We must remember that we don’t have to persuade God to be filled with the Holy Spirit, He already desires this for us. Let us ask Him with sincere hearts and bold faith!
