Being joyful is not optional for believers, but to ALWAYS be joyful sure is hard. Joy—even in difficult circumstances—is possible through the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We must be sure we’re providing fertile soil for the Spirit to work with. True joy (His joy) comes only when we abide in Christ.
